I spent over an hour and a half in Menards (local home improvement chain ) looking for something I could put together in a nice way to display my jewelry for the show... finally came out with some particle board, 2x4's and some metal piping... I then made my way to Jo-ann fabrics looking for something to cover up the wood... I found some cool faux black fur and black faux leather and when I got home Ryan and I assembled it all and I have to say I am pretty impressed... Who knew I could be so industrious.
So besides the craftyness I have been sleeping way intirely too much and by that I mean sometimes I sleep most of the day away... only taking time to get up for meals... sicksicksick... depressive I am sure, but why ..? I know it must be the weather and the fact that there are weeks Ryan and I don't venture outside more than to go to the store around the corner and get the mail.
Today we cleaned the kids rooms from top to bottom, discarded the too-small clothes and outgrown or partially broken toys...the kids were really good about it, although Evie is secure in the thought that everything we through out will be replaced immediately ( yea !)
In talking with my brother when I went in to work with him for a few hours the other day, I found out that the jobs that Ryan and the crew will be working on this summer are so close to home, they should be home every weekend... except for one job... one of the jobs is local too so he will be home Every night on that one exciting.
Speaking of exciting... Ryan was talking to his mom the other day and it seems as though his parents will be replacing their car this fall and will be trading their present car ( A 97 or 98 grand prix ) to Ryan's sister for the car that they bought for her for graduation (a 2003 Cavalier ) and giving us that... so by Fall we will have a new car ! free and clear too...! The Cavalier has less than 20,000 miles too... I couldn't believe my ears when Ryan said so... Why we became so lucky I will never know...
