Ok why is lately I come here and I am always slightly tipsy hmmm...??? WELL tonight I went out with my bestest bud in the whole wide world LEE.
He and I have been friends for over half of my life (or so he pointed out to me tonight...) Lee was a friend of my brother Todd's first and I met him when I was 14 years old.
He is 42yrs. old and been with his girlfriend ( whom incidentily I went to high school with ) for about 12 years, The have no plans on marriage or kids EVER...
He is an electrical lineman and spends a lot of time on the road unfortunately, So the time I get to spend with him is few and far between... He has just returned from TX and LA working on restoring power to the people who were affected by Gustav and Ike.
Tonight we went to This place for a bite and drinks and then out to the local bar we used to be regulars at back in the day to shoot some darts and have a few drinks.
Tonight it was a "candy necklace" night - (malibu coconut rum, 99 bananas, melon schnapps, blue maui and pinapple juice... Shaken not stirred please ) be careful they are highly addictive. also I enjoyed something that was very interesting indeed... it was a frosting shot... yea exactly frosting. the one I had was key lime, but there were also Tequila rose ones to be had... mmm hmmm... it tasted like I said, not like alcohol, but something that goes on top of a cupcake... Strange... Maybe I am getting old, but I don't remember any of the fun things like that when I was in my early 20's and was a barfly...
Oh I am getting so OLD... !
Speaking of old I will be 36 in a couple weeks... THIRTY SIX people ... damn !
Ahh well thanks to Clinique I don't look a day over 27... (ok maybe 30! )
